This is a companion site to a family genealogy website emlekezik.com.
I run that website, and there’s a lot of technical stuff that I’m learning along this journey.
The postings here have two purposes:
First, hopefully they’ll be of help to someone.
At times it’s been frustrating learning software development.
Too often tutorials at the top of google are mere cut and paste jobs with the same mistakes and typos.
Here I’ll make my own mistakes and tupos typos.
The other reason for these postings is to document my work.
I go through periods where I learn stuff and then ignore it for a while.
When I go back to it, it feels like I’m starting all over again.
If I had a nickel for every time I learned javascript, I’d have at least ten cents.
Anyway, here’s to new journeys.
